MA Members Together: Northern Ireland

The Museums Association (UK) invite their members and Irish Museums Association (IMA) members to the Members Together: Northern Ireland event at Ulster Museum.

This event offers an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the MA's current campaigns and advocacy work; to hear updates from, and network with, colleagues in Northern Ireland; and to hear representatives from the Department for Communities discuss their plans for a new museum policy for Northern Ireland. 

Additionally, IMA Vice-Chair, Dr Riann Coulter, will join the MA's director, Sharon Heal, board member Stella Byrne, and Northern Ireland rep Catherine Doran to discuss the current issues facing the sector.

There will also be the chance to network and be taken on an exclusive tour of the venue. 

The event is open to members of the Museums Association and the Irish Museums Association. Please note that this is an in-person only event.
