Felicia Tan

Felicia Tan is the Registrar of the Chester Beatty since 2017, where she focuses on collections information management as well as the administering the day to day registrar duties of loans, exhibitions, location management, audits, provenance research and new acquisitions.
Felicia holds an undergraduate Honours Degree in Anthropology and Chinese Studies from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Museum Studies from the University of Manchester. In 2005, she was appointed Assistant Registrar at the National Gallery of Ireland and, in 2008, as the first Collections Registrar in 2008 at the Irish Museum of Modern Art where she oversaw the development of the Collections Management System and established primary documentation procedures based on SPECTRUM and MSPI standards. During this time she was also Registrar for the Turner Prize 2013 in Derry.
Felicia Tan was elected to the IMA Board of Directors in January 2024.
