New Director of Public Engagement appointed at National Museums NI

National Museums NI has announced (01/12/2023) the appointment of Aaron Ward as their new Director of Public Engagement.

Aaron began his career in a research-based role in PwC and has significant experience in tourism development and brand communications through positions held at Tourism NI and AV Browne. He joined National Museums NI in 2018 as Head of Creative Engagement, responsible for designing audience-centred solutions to support the delivery of an excellent visitor experience across the museum sites, taking up the role of Head of Audience Development in 2019. In his time with National Museums NI, Aaron has played the lead role in their major brand transformation and capital investment projects.

Aaron held the position of Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees for Ulster University Students’ Union between 2019 and 2023 where he advocated for a range of student and societal issues and has been a Board Member of Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful since 2022.
