Movement for Good Awards – Partnership Funding

5 Jun 2025

Benefact Group's Movement for Good Awards – Partnership Funding expressions of interest window is open. The deadline to submit your short pitch is 20 June 2025.

About the Awards

We know how incredibly challenging and time-consuming the grant funding process is for charities. We regularly get this feedback from charities and we’ve made it the topic of our webinars, podcasts and forums.

So, we’re committed to making our approach different.

Our approach

We don’t run an open application process, and we don’t expect huge numbers of charities to apply.

We take a ‘partnership’ approach – we’re interested in a short pitch from any charity, but we’ll only ask charities to complete a full application if they fit what we’re looking to fund.

What are we looking to fund?

We have several hundred thousand pounds to distribute annually, in grants of £10,000+. We expect to fund 20+ charities every year.

We’re looking for charities whose work directly supports causes our customers care about. Our three key themes are detailed below.

We won’t be looking to fund charities supporting animals, hospices or health for example. Remember our £1,000 draws and Charity Support are open for any charity across the UK and Ireland.

Themes

  • Education and skills. Projects which promote or sustain skills and expertise among any group of people. Previously funded projects include giving school children positive mental health training and teaching lifesaving water safety skills to underserved communities.
  • Arts, heritage or culture: Projects which promote or support our history and traditions or focuses on the protection and preservation of historic land and buildings. Previously funded projects have educated craftspeople in sustainable design and helped connect people with disabilities with heritage.
  • Climate change or environment: Projects which contribute to our collective challenge to tackle impact on the climate and environment. Previously funded projects have enabled restoration of wetlands across the UK and research into climate impacts on heritage buildings.

Expressions of Interest close midnight Friday 20th June, invitations for applications will be issued in July and distribution of funds typically in the Autumn.
