Call for Nominations to the IMA Board (Extended Deadline)
22 Apr 2025
Are you passionate about museums and cultural heritage? Would you like to help shape the future of the museum sector across Ireland?
The Irish Museums Association (IMA) is now inviting nominations to its voluntary Board of Directors from members based in Ulster and Connaught—a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of a dynamic, all-island organisation.
We are seeking committed and knowledgeable individuals to guide the IMA through its next phase of development and to champion the vital role of museums in society.
For this election cycle, the following vacancies are open to Individual members or those registered under Institutional membership:
- Two positions for members living or working in Ulster
- One position for a member living or working in Connaught
If you’re interested in playing a leadership role within the sector—strengthening collaboration across regions and using your skills and experience for the benefit of the wider museum community, while gaining new insights and professional development—we’d love to hear from you.
