Nano Nagle Place

Nano Nagle Place is an urban heritage oasis in the centre of bustling Cork City. Site of the old presentation convent, the complex houses a heritage experience, gardens, a café and shop.
The heritage experience engagingly describes life in 18th century Cork before going on to tell the story of how Nano Nagle worked tirelessly to help and educate the poor and needy of the city. The visitor can then interactively explore how the congregation she founded, the Presentation Sisters, travelled across the globe to continue her work.
The site houses buildings dating from the 1770s to the present day, all lovingly conserved and regenerated, along with some fabulous examples of Irish contemporary design.
