James Joyce Cultural Centre

James-Joyce-Centre.jpg

The James Joyce Centre is dedicated to being a global hub for the world-wide celebration of writer James Joyce and to the promotion of an understanding of his life, literature, and legacy.

The James Joyce Cultural Centre opened on Bloomsday 1996 and aims to develop the position of the James Joyce Centre as the focal point for the worldwide celebration of James Joyce and as a destination for literary tourism, access to Georgian Dublin, and culture in Dublin city.

As an educational charity, learning is at the core of the work at the James Joyce Centre, where they aim to promote insight into Joyce’s life and work, through lectures, courses and performances. They strive to promote Joyce’s artistic legacy working with many artists and writers across their educational programmes, developing activities in partnership with organisations from different sectors to reach audiences who may not previously have taken part in cultural institutions.
