Supporting Community Archives into the Future

The Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) and the Irish Community Archive Network (iCAN) are pleased to announce our collaborative conference ‘Supporting Community Archives into the Future’, taking place on 29 September 2023 in the Royal Irish Academy.

Supporting Community Archives into the Future will bring community archivists from diverse backgrounds all around the island of Ireland together for a day of talks, workshops, and knowledge sharing. 

The event programme includes spotlights on Black and Irish, and Clare Memories, as well as guidance from the Heritage Council, the Oral History Network of Ireland, and a chance to participate in the DRI ‘LEGO for Reproducibility’ workshop.

The event is free but places are limited so early registration is recommended.
