Supporting Staff and Colleagues
Some of our museum staff have been deemed essential on-site workers, many are working from home, and numerous colleagues are adjusting to roles more compatible with remote working.
This session will discuss some of the main challenges faced: What measures are being implemented to support staff – both professionally and personally – during this time? How can we ensure our time is used most productively while avoiding burnout? What steps can we take to enhance job security?
This session will be hosted by William Blair, IMA Chair. He will be joined by Mark Wilkinson, Head of Human Resource and Organisational Development, National Museums NI.
These weekly gatherings of colleagues aim to provide connectivity between IMA members, allow you to share information and strategies, exchange ideas, and - most importantly - support each other during these difficult circumstances.
The IMA Virtual Coffee Breaks are open to IMA members only (Individual members and staff from Institutional and Museum members).
