GPO Museum is recruiting a passionate, energetic and engaging Tour Guide – Visitor Experience Ambassadors.

The successful candidate will have exceptional and adept knowledge of modern Irish history. The individual is required to immerse themselves in the unique content of the museum and provide the highest level of visitor experience. Fluency in Irish is a distinct advantage though not essential.

This role requires flexibility and willingness to prepare for all tour elements working across different parts of the museum while also ensuring exceptional standards. The position involves working rostered duties, including Saturdays.

The duration of the post is initially for six months with the possibility of an extension after that term. A three-month probationary period will apply. The successful candidate will be dynamic with the ability to deliver a range of tours which are accessible to a variety of audiences.

Salary: €15 per hour
