The Chester Beatty is seeking the services of a professional with experience in the development of museum-based learning resources for Irish post-primary schools.
They should have experience in the development and management of similar learning resources in the arts, heritage and not-for-profit organisations, in particular museums.
The successful service provider will work with the Head of Education at the Chester Beatty.
They will manage and develop a series of five learning resources for the
- Leaving Certificate Art including Art History and Appreciation, Still Life, Imaginative Composition, Design and Craftwork
- These resources must be developed using the Chester Beatty collections as the primary resource; be accessible learning resources for both students and teachers for both onsite and online; apply a cross curricular approach to the resources; and be developed in consultation with the Education Department of the Chester Beatty.
- These resources can range from PDFs, image banks, activity plans and power points.

Project Details
This work will be delivered through a contract for services and prospective candidates must be registered as a sole trader or company and be able to provide a tax clearance certificate. The contractor must have public liability insurance. Tenderers will be invited to submit a cost for the delivery of this service which will include all travel to work, accommodation, subsistence and related expenses.
The contractor will be required to provide an invoice, quoting the Purchase Order number in respect of work completed. The contractor is responsible for his/her own income tax, social welfare contributions and any other levies required by law.
This work is deemed a Professional Service and therefore Professional Services Withholding Tax (PSWT) will be deducted from payment at a rate of 20% and remitted to Revenue.
Maximum total budget available: €10,000 including VAT.
