Museum and Heritage Services Manager

Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council are seeking to appoint a permanent Museum and Heritage Services Manager.

The successful postholder will provide leadership and direction, oversee the curation and creative interpretation of collections, develop and ensure delivery of engagement programmes and effectively and efficiently manage museum & heritage facilities and resources including FE McWilliam Gallery & Studio, Armagh County Museum, The Navan Centre, Craigavon Museum Service other museum & heritage facilities and ensure these venues are fully utilised and integrated as cultural and heritage resources.

The role is driven by the imaginative and effective interpretation of museum collections and local heritage. It is creative, customer focused, challenging, solutions orientated and constantly evolving.

Reports To: Arts, Culture and Heritage Manager

Location: Council Offices, Armagh. However the post holder may be required to work at other locations across the Borough.

Salary: PO6 SCP 41-44 £47,573-£50,608 per annum
