Travelling to the IMA Conference 

By air:

The nearest airports are Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport.

By bus:

Bus Eireann run regular services between Dublin and Athlone. See also Citylink. Journey time is approx. 90 minutes. 

There are no direct links between Shannon and Athlone. Journey time ranges between 2.5 – 3 hours.

By train:

For information on train timetables and ticketing information visit the Iarnrod Eireann (ROI) and Translink websites. Approximate travel time between Athlone and Dublin: 1 hr 20 mins. Approximate travel time between Athlone and Belfast (connecting trains): 4.5 hours. 

By car:

Approximate travel time from Dublin or Shannon is 90 mins. From Belfast: 3 hours.
