EYCH Call for Projects, Heritage Council of Ireland (Cultural Policy)

Posted: Wednesday, 27 September 2017

The Heritage Council of Ireland, National Co-ordinator for European Year of Cultural Heritage, are seeking activities and events to formulate Ireland's Programme for European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.  The theme for the Year in Ireland is ‘Make a Connection’.

This theme aims to deepen the connection between people and heritage, and build a legacy of increased public engagement. To achieve this objective, the Heritage Council is inviting organisations and individuals to take action and respond to the theme.

They are asking organisations and individuals to identify initiatives, existing and new, planned for 2018 which meet the objectives of European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH) and would like to invite you to nominate one or two initiatives from your organisation ( which meet the themes of the year) for inclusion and use of the EYCH18 label.

Permission must be granted by the Heritage Council as National Coordinator to use the European Year of Cultural Heritage label/brand.
