The Irish Museums Association (IMA) is appealing to members and museums across Ireland to submit 2-3 carefully selected images that represent the work of your institution, in particular in relation to the 1916 commemorative exhibitons and events.
A selection of these images will be used to promote the extraordinary work by museums throughout 2016 and the dynamic response to the Ireland 2016 brief at a private event this November. The images will not be reproduced or circulated on a public platform and, should the occasion arise for future additional use, the IMA will request this individually.
Should you be able to respond to this appeal, please send two-three high-resolution images to the IMA before the 7 October. These can be emailed to info@irishmuseums.org or shared via a file-sharing site such as DropBox or WeTransfer.
Please ensure the images are:
- JPG format
- 300 DPI where possible
- Colour
- Please title each image with Title of Event/Exhibition; Location; date (for example, 'IMA Annual Lecture with Diane Lees, IWM_Kilmainham Gaol, Dublin_28 November 2016)
- Include credits where necesary
Images that additionally showcase Community and Audience engagement within the context of the above brief are particularly welcome.
