Join Don Undeen (Boom HiFive and formerly Digital Media Lab, Metropolitan Museum, New York) on Saturday 1 October and Sunday 2 October, for a two-day interactive workshop aimed at local Makers and museum practitioners at the Chester Beatty Library, Dublin. Participants will discover the potential for creative collaboration between Makers and museums. The second part of the programme will include a hands-on creative workshop with Make Create Innovate, and introduce Design Thinking with a workshop to reimagine museums from the Maker perspective. You will then develop a prototype based on museum content and visitor experiences.
Please note: this workshop is limited to 20 participants.
This is a free event aimed at Makers and museum practitioners. Workshop will run Saturday 11.30am-5pm followed by a drinks reception 5-6pm, and Sunday 12-4.30pm.
