Audience Development Study 2015: Group Consultations, Dublin and Cork (Seminar)

Posted: Tuesday, 10 March 2015

Independent consultants Annette Nugent, Heather Maitland and Rachel Gibson have been appointed to carry out a study on audience development in Ireland on behalf of the Arts Council and in conjunction with Arts Audiences. Their brief is to develop a clear understanding of the audience development needs of a broad cultural cohort, and to do an initial assessment of where the cultural sector might work with academic and/or business sectors in the future.

To this end, they are seeking participation in a group workshop to help address questions arising from their work so far, including the following:
- Do the academic, business and cultural sectors have the same understanding of audience development?
- What do cultural/academic/corporate organisations want to know about audiences for the arts?
- How do we make arts audience development priorities a reality? Who needs to / can play a role?

If you'd like to contribute to addressing these and related questions, please come to one of their consultations in Dublin or Cork:
