New Director of National Museum of Ireland (News)

The Board of the National Museum of Ireland has announced the appointment of Mr Raghnall Ó Floinn as Director of the National Museum of Ireland. The appointment follows an international search for a Director to succeed Dr. Patrick Wallace who retired from the post at the end of February 2012.

Mr Ó Floinn has gained a vast wealth of experience in all key aspects of the work and management of the National Museum over several years including as Head of Collections over the past ten years.
