This intensive seminar will be held will run over one and a half days. It is designed for Conservators and Conservation Architects to further their understanding of different timbers used on furniture and architectural joinery and the macroscopic and microscopic identification of a range of European wood species. The seminar is organised by ICHAWI (Institute for the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works in Ireland) and will be conducted by Dr. Angelika Rauch, art historian, cabinet maker and conservator/restorer of wooden objects.
Fee: €150 including coffees/teas/scones on both days as well as lunch on Friday.
