Art Fund Prize 2010 - Vote Now (Awards)

The Art Fund Prize for museums and galleries aims to recognise and stimulate originality and excellence in museums and galleries in the UK, and increase public appreciation and enjoyment of all they have to offer. A single award of £100,000 is presented to a museum or gallery whose entry, in the opinion of the judges, best meets the Prize criteria through a project completed or mainly undertaken in the previous calendar year.

Four museums have made it to the short list - the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, Blists Hill Victorian Town in Shropshire, the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry and the Ulster Museum in Belfast. Click here for the latest information, the winner will be announced on 30 June 2010.
