03 July | 10:00 - 16:30
Irish Museums Association
The safety of participants is our primary concern. We will be monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak in advance of this forum and have alternative online delivery measures in place should this be advisable.
Are you interested in museum or gallery learning and community engagement? Join us at the IMA's Education + Outreach (Ed+O) one-day forum in Dublin to meet with colleagues and professionals working with and within the museum and wider cultural education sector.
From projects at pilot stage to results of final evaluation, covering disciplines from archaeology to art, the Ed+O forum is a key event in the calendar for museum and cultural practitioners and educators to meet and discuss topics of interest to their learning and engagement programmes.
Speakers will take part in panel sessions and present discussion papers at this one-day forum exploring developments in museum education and community engagement, bringing together a diverse range of voices that will discuss the shift towards a user-led philosophy in our museums:
Full details including abstracts, speakers' biographies and details schedule will be available to download and view from late May 2020.
